About Me

About Me

I am a highly motivated Columbia College Chicago graduate looking to be considered for the a marketing or publishing position. I graduated with a Bachelors in Journalism and Marketing. During my college career I have held two internships, one being editorial intern at Chicago Collection Magazine where I edited the magazine front to back and produced 7-10 short writing clips per week. My second internship was at the Italian fashion house Max Mara where I was an assistant to the store manager.

I have acquired a high level of skill in writing, editing and coming up with creative story ideas. I have my own personal blog, as well as a Chicago based sports blog created during my blogging class at Columbia and I have also contributed as a guest blogger at InstaVogue, a California based photo blog affiliated with Instagram.

Studying journalism and marketing at Columbia has taught me so much about myself, both as a person and as a young professional. My copywriting, PR, sale promotion and marketing classes have fueled my interest for marketing. At the same time, my magazine editing and other journalism courses have given me solid grounding and love for writing.

Since graduation I have been freelance writing for 22nd Century Media where I cover events such as city hall meetings, sports tournaments and cook offs in the Southwest suburbs. I also contributed to a project at CFS Real Estate, where I created a logo, website, open house brochure and social media presence for the company and became a realtors assistant.

I am excited and eager to use my hard earned skills in a professional work environment where I am truly passionate about the work.
